"So far as I can ascertain, the habits and conditions of living
were about the same in the two groups with the exception, of
course, of the food. Many more children now have school meals
and milk than before the war, with Cod Liver Oil and Orange
Juice. This may well be the reason for the improvement.
Following a request in the early part of the year, I give below
the results of the inspection of some 5-year old and 6-year old
groups, showing the incidence of dental defects :—
