There has been a significant decrease in the number of children
from Junior Schools, but 11+ still seems to be the peak age for
children beyond the Infant stages who have been seen. The majority
of these eleven years old's experienced some difficulty in adjusting
themselves to Secondary School life.
The Psychologist saw children at the request of Head teachers,
medical officers, parents and others. Table III gives the sources of
referral with percentages of cases from each source.
