VACCINATION AND IMMUNISATION

DIPHTHERIA IMMUNISATION
Immunisation was carried out at the weekly clinic held at
the Town Hall, at Schools and at all Welfare Centres, on the
lines detailed in previous reports. The following summarises the
work done:—
Total number of immunisations completed during 1949 :—
(a) School age 304
(b) Pre-school age 1,648
(c) Over school age 1
Total 1,953
(d) Number already immunised having a reinforcing
dose 1,628
The above total includes 108 children immunised at "Brookscroft
"and 432 by private practitioners.
