In addition, the Walthamstow Child Welfare Society holds
massage and sunlight sessions.
A new child welfare clinic was opened on the 14th September,
1949, at the former Relief Offices at West Avenue. The premises,
consisting of a large hall with small rooms opening from it, provide
good facilities and very soon became well attended.
An additional welfare session was begun on the 1st April,
1949, at the Penrhyn Avenue Clinic.
