"From the 1st December, 1947, to the 3rd December,
1948, 26 pupil midwives entered for their District Midwifery
training.
"Staff at the end of December, 1948, was as follows
3 Midwives.
1 Queens Nurse.
5 full-time S.R.N.
3 part-time S.R.N.
1 part-time Assistant Nurse.
7 Pupil Midwives.
"Midwifery and Maternity nursing undertaken for the
year was as follows:—

The County Council became the Local Supervising Authority
on July 5th, 1948.
