G.—INFECTIOUS DISEASES HOSPITAL
The Hospital passed to the control of the North-East Metropolitan
Hospital Board on July 5th. This would appear to be
a fitting occasion to refer to the splendid work carried out at the
Hospital and the completely altered "picture" of the role of the
ad hoc Infectious Diseases Hospital with practically no Diphtheria
to treat and little Scarlet Fever—now a trivial illness with few
complications.
At all times the Hospital has been a happy one and children
have repeatedly expressed their regret when the time has come
for discharge.
