During the Autumn term we had one case of scarlet fever, one
of chicken pox, four mumps and three dysentery. The usual
precautions were taken with regard to the latter and we were
fortunate not to have further cases.''
16. SECONDARY SCHOOLS.
The Authority for the provision of Secondary Schools in
Walthamstow is the Essex County Council, for which your Committee
provide the following services:—
(a) Dental Inspection and Treatment.—Reference has been made
in Section 7 (g) to the dental inspection and treatment of pupils
attending Secondary and Technical Schools.
