proceeded along the lines detailed in previous years.

assistant school medical officers are recognised by the Board of
Education as certifying officers.

School for Mentally Defective Children.—Miss R. E. A. Lock,
the Teacher in Charge, reports as follows:—
During the current year the school has averaged 40 on roll.
Ages range from 6 years to 15 years plus, and I.Q's from 46 to 78.
Six boys and three girls have left during the year and most are
in full-time employment.
