"We have only included the Orthopaedic cases which have
actually been referred to this Association, and it is generally
recognised that last year less following up of such cases was
necessary.
"The social work in connection with the Child Guidance clinic
has been the feature of the year. Here visits are necessarily long
and the following up is considerable."

137 supervisory visits were made during the year, and 100
miscellaneous visits were made.
(6) Central Boot Fund Committee - The Honorary Secretary, Mr. A.
J.Blackhall has' very kindly sent the following account of the work
of the boot fund during 1945
"During the 12 months ended 31st December 1943,; 500 pairs of
boots and shoes were distributed, at a cost of £310.
