2. Number of maternity beds in the Institution (exclusive
of isolation and labour beds) - 48.
2a. Number of beds, if any, under item 2 which have been
allocated to, and reserved for, expectant mothers in
need of hospital treatment. - Variable according to
requirements. No definite reservation.
3. Number of maternity cases admitted during the year - 801
(including ante-and post- natal cases).
3a. Number of women treated during the year in the beds

3b. Average duration of treatment of expectant mothers in
the beds shown against item 2a. - 4.19 days, (ante-natal).
4. Average duration of stay of cases included against
item 3.- 14.66 days (confinement).
