The National Milk Publicity Council arranged lectures and demonstrations at nine different meetings in the Borough of Walthamstow during the year:—

4.Apr. 20.—B.W.T.A.U., St. James Street Brotherhood"Milk for Health."
5.May 5.—Mothers' Meeting, St. Saviour's, Markhouse Road"Food Value of Milk."
6.June 9.—Women's Meeting, St. James Street' 'Food Value of Milk.''
7.Sept. 21.—Women's Meeting, Wood StreetMilk Cooking Demonstration.
8.Oct. 4.—Women's Fellowship, St. Oswald's, York Road' 'Food Value of Milk.
9.Dec. 6.—Women's Fellowship, Christ Church, Cedars Avenue"Health Rules."

Your Council subscribes one guinea per annum to the
Industrial Health Education Society. Lectures were arranged by
the Society in Walthamstow during 1937 on various subjects.
The Borough Librarian states that the works recommended in
the list issued by the British Social Hygiene Council are, in the
main, in stock at the Central Library.
The Mutual Property, Life & General Insurance Co., Ltd., held
a Health Exhibition for seven days in November which waa attended
by 735 persona.
Physical Training for Adults.—A report on the matter by
the Education Committee Physical Training Organisers appears on
page 45 of the report of the School Medical Officer for 1937.
