2. CO-ORDINATION.
Close co-operation has been maintained along the lines detailed
in the report for 1931.
Your Authority and the Council approved the general principle
of co-ordinating the nursing duties of the School Medical Service
and the Maternity and Child Welfare Service by combining the
offices of School Nurse and Health Visitor as opportunity should
arise in future.
Miss Dunne. left the Committee's service in February, 1934;
Miss Stuart was appointed in her place and devotes half-time to
6chool nursing and to health visiting. In order to equalise, Miss
Legg reverted from whole-time health visiting to joint duties.

has been reduced by one, due to re-arrangements at the Blackhorse
Road Schools, although no Department was actually closed. It also
shows a decrease of 1,117 in the number of children on the register
as compared with the previous year.
