Chicken Pox was not notifiable after 31st November, 1934.
In addition, the following notifications were received in respect
of children in this age-group:—Pneumonia, 36; Erysipelas, 3;
Encaphalitis Lethargica. 1: Enteric, 1; Cerebro Spinal
Meningitis, 1.

The cases discovered by the medical staff and included in the above table were as follows:—

Non-notifiable infectious disease is chiefly brought to light by
the weekly returns made by Head Teachers under the local
"Regulations as to Infectious Diseases in Schools."
