(h) Orthopædic and Postural Defects.— A total of 30 deformities
was found to require treatment. The smallness of this
number is explained by the fact that nearly every cripple is now
being discovered under the Maternity and Child Welfare Scheme,
and is receiving treatment either under your Authority's
Orthopasdic Scheme, at one of the Metropolitan Hospitals or
from the family doctor.
