5. TREATMENT.
(a) Orthopaedic.—The facilities provided by the Education
Authority's Orthopaedic Scheme is available lor all children
attending the welfare Centres.
Miss Garratt has kindly furnished the following information
with respect to children under five years of age:—

The following figures are quoted from the School Medical
Officer's Report for 1933 in order to show that the majority of
defects are now being discovered at the earliest possible moment
under the Maternity and Child Welfare Scheme.
