and Child Welfare Section. All are whole-time officers unless
otherwise stated.
(ii) Laboratory Facilities.— These facilities are detailed
under the Infectious Diseases Section of the Report. There were
no changes in the arrangements detailed in previous years.
(iii) Ambulance Facilities.—
(a) Infectious Cases.—No change since last report.
(b) Non-Infectious and Accident Cases, and
(c) Maternity Patients see below
1. Municipal Service.
Superintendent Camp, A.M.I.Fire E., reports as follows on
the work done during 1933:—

The oxygen breathing set, with a mixture of 7 per cent. of
carbon dioxide, has been in use on two occasions for cases of gas
poisoning, and was successful each time.
2. Removal of Patients to Whipps Cross Hospital is carried
out by the Hospital Ambulances.
3. St. John Ambulance Brigade.
Mr. W. W. Perriton, Corps Officer, reports as follows:—
"First aid cases attended, 1,021. Number of patients
removed, 920. Road Accidents, 27. Total mileage of cars, 15,525.
Early in the year, one permanent driver had to be dismissed on
account of lack of funds. In addition to Willow Walk Station,
the sub-station at the Buxton Club, the Duncan Memorial,
Highams Park, and during the summer months, the Epping Road
tent and the Cardo Memorial Hut have been maintained, and
staffed. Duties have been done at Clapton Stadium every Saturday
and at special meetings, and at Lea Bridge Speedway, six
men at every meeting. The Dominion, Carlton and Bell Cinemas
are covered every night. Also, Old Folks' functions, and the
usual football and sports duties have been carried out, and all
London duties when applied for by Headquarters."
(iv) Nursing in the Home.
(a) General.—No change since 1931.
(b) Infectious Disemes.—No change since 1931.
