Vaccination.—Mr.E.Sharp, Vaccination Officer for the Area, has furnished the following return for 1932:—

In, addition to the above, 103 primary vaccinations were
recorded.
The percentage vaccinated compares with 16.7 in 1931 and
18.0 in 1930.
One primary and 7 re-vaccinations were done by your Medica
Staff during 1932 in cases of direct Smallpox contacts.
During 1932 the vaccinal condition of all school childrer
examined at Routine Medical Inspection was recorded and e
summary of the findings for the year showed that 30.4 per cent,
were vaccinated.
SCARLET FEVER.
A total of 445 cases of Scarlet Fever were notified in 1932 a;
compared with 451 in 1931.
