From the above table it will be seen that of 1,807 children,
1,484, or 82.1 per cent., were breast fed on first being visited, but
280, or 15.5 per cent, had no separate sleeping accommodation.
The particulars in respect of Housing accommodation show that only
609 of the families visited had a house to themselves, while 72
families were living in one room. The 1931 figures were 583 and
72 respectively.

There has been a progressive decline in the number of families living in one room, the 1930 total being 168.
