The Medical Officer devotes a substantial part of his time to health
education and his report is included in the Part III Section, together with
a report by the Superintendent Health Visitor on health education at infant
welfare centres.
EXAMINATION OF OFFICERS AND SERVANTS.
The following medical examinations were carried out during 1961:-

In addition enquiries were made of General Practitioners and Hospitals
in respect of numerous cases, referred under Sickness Regulations,
which were not subsequently medically examined at the Public Health
Offices.
MASS RADIOGRAPHY.
A mass radiography unit visited the Borough on Mondays from 13th
February to 15th May, 1961 and again from 25th September to the end of
the year.
The service is still in operation and Dr. H. Ramsey, the Medical Director, has kindly supplied me with the following details, relating to the period under review.
