cases were transferred to the district.
The population of Ilford has not varied greatly during the past five years and the number of cases added to the register has also shown little change as the following figures

Of the 8 deaths which occurred of Ilford residents,
notification had previously been made of 7 of the cases. In
the other case the presence of tuberculosis was discovered
as a result of post-mortem.
