HEALTH EDUCATION.
Public lectures to Voluntary Guilds and Institutes
and Church organisations, etc., on health topics were given
during the year. The Chairman of the Public Health Committee
also made reference at a number of Council meetings
to health subjects. Poster displays regarding Diphtheria
immunisation, Poliomyelitis vaccination and health topics
were also given prominence.
EXAMINATION OF OFFICERS AND SERVANTS.
The following medical examinations were carried out during 1959:-

In addition enquiries were made of General Practitioners
and Hospitals in respect of numerous cases, referred
under Sickness Regulations, which were not subsequently
medically examined at the Public Health Offices.
