Rheumatism Clinic.—32 sessions were held during the year at Newbury Hall, at which 23 children under 5 years of age. 13 being new cases, made 31 attendances. The following is a summary of the cases treated: —

Artificial Sunlight Clinic.—47 sessions were held at the Newbury
Hall Clinic and 50 at Mayesbrook Clinic. 139 children in all were treated,
making 841 attendances.

88 cases were still attending at the end of the year; of the remainder _
1 had removed from the district, 7 were discharged, having shown improvement.
16 were discharged having made a satisfactory recovery, 20 were
discharged due to absence and 7 were discharged having made no progress.
Speech Clinic.—6 children of pre-school age attended, making 58
attendances. The following is the classification of the defects found by
the speech therapist:—
Stammering 3. Dyslalia 3.
1 child was discharged with normal speech and in 4 cases the parents
refused treatment.
