Ungraded Milk16133One of these samples was of
milk as received from farms in Essex and had high Bacterial content. Of the other 2 samples one failed to satisfy the Methylene Blue Reduction test, and the other had high Bacterial content. The retailers were communicated with and resampling was ordered. Further sa mples proved satisfactory.
Ice Cream14011327In four cases supplies were received from outside the Borough, and the local Medical Officers of Health were communicated with. In the other cases the retailers were communicated with and the Sanitary Inspectors visited the premises to check the arrangements for storage, etc. Further available samples proved satisfactory.
(iv) Biological Tests.—30 samples of milk were submitted to a biological test for tuberculosis, none of which was found positive.
