to" the National Sooiety of Children's Nurseries, they are recognised for
training purposes by the newly-established Board. The training covers a
period of two years, during which time Students are required to attend one
of the local technical colleges on two days per week during their normal
working hours; the practical training is undertaken in tha Nurseries.
During the year three Students from the Sunshine House Nursery, one from
the Green Lane Nursery, and one from the Ley Street Nursery sat for the
examination, four of whom obtained either the diploma of the N.S.C.N. or
the certificate of the National Nursery Nurses Examination Board.
