(а) The net estimated population is found by deducting the population of Claybury and West Ham Mental and E.M.S. Hospitals from the gross estimated population.
The population of Dr. Bamardo's Girls' Village Homes is included in the net estimated population of the dis trict.
(b) The net number of births is obtained by taking the uncorrected number of births supplied by the local Registrar and adding to or subtracting from it such
a number as is supplied for this purpose by the Registrar-General.
