Professor G. S. Wilson of the Emergency Public Health Laboratory
Service, School of Pathology at Oxford, undertook the Schick and Dick
testing of certain children who had previously been inoculated against
Scarlet Fever and Diphtheria, and also to inoculate new admissions, for
whom consent forms had already been obtained. In previous years our
own medical staff did this work, but owing to travel restrictions this was
not possible.

The following is a brief summary of the work carried out:—
