Of the cases notified, the following table shows the percentage created in
institutions, including those who were treated in the institutions from which
they were notified:—

The total number of deaths of Ilford residents from the following infectious diseases during 1943 was 215 as against 170 in 1942.

(6) Scarlet Fever.—579 cases were notified in 1943. One death occurred
at the Ilford Isolation Hospital.

from Diphtheria during the year, 3 at the Ilford Isolation Hospital and
