No member of the Nursing Staff contracted Scarlet Fever or Diphtheria
during the year.
The Hospital is recognised by the Conjoint Board for Part 2 of the
D.P.H. Regulations of the Board.
Admission of Cases from Barking.—The arrangement entered into with
Barking Corporation for the reception of cases of infectious disease occurring
in that area, as far as accommodation permitted, continued during the year.
During 1941 the number of cases admitted was 207. Payment was at the
agreed rate of 10/- per day, plus a charge of 2/- per mile for use of ambulance.
