The Medical Officer of Health is a member of the District

Examinations of such urgent specimens as Diphtheria swabs
are carried out at the Laboratory at the Ilford Public Health
Offices. The accompanying table shows that 1,220 specimens have
been examined at the Laboratory during the year.
