MILK SUPPLY.
There were in the Ilford district at the end of the year
51 dairies and milkshops and 11 cowsheds on the register.
BAKEHOUSES.
There are 34 bakehouses in the district, including 10
factory bakehouses. There is I underground bakehouse.
SLAUGHTERHOUSES.
There are three licensed slaughterhouses in the district.
SUPERVISION OF FOOD SUPPLY.
During the year the following articles were condemned
as being unfit for the food of man:—
Tuberculous lungs and liver of ox.
1 side of a sheep.
5 bushels of winkles.
1 carcase of beef.
60 quarts of milk.
1 rabbit.
1 set of ox lungs.
2 forequarters of beef with organs and head of cow.
Set of lung trimmings.
1 barrel of Almeria grapes.
