SCHOOLS.
The schools providing accommodation for 13,126 children
in this district, under the Education Authority, are the
following :—

Highlands Valentines
South Park Little Heath
Voluntary.
National, High Road, Ilford, C. of E.
Infants, High Road, Ilford, C. of E.
Roman Catholic, Ilford.
Barkingside.
The extension to South Park School has been begun,
and will provide accommodation for 700 extra children.
Aldborough Hatch School was closed in April, 1912. The
question of the amendment of the National School is under
consideration.
CLEANLINESS AND DISINFECTION OF SCHOOLS.
The cloak-rooms and lobbies have been disinfected by
spraying out in the various holidays, and certain class-rooms
have been disinfected and articles were destroyed after
infectious disease, chiefly Scarlet Fever. A detailed list of
the work carried out is as follows:—
