OFFICER OF HEALTH.
TO THE BOARD OF WORKS FOR THE ST. GILES
DISTRICT.
Gentlemen,
I beg to present you the Annual Report of the
Vital and Mortal Statistics of the St. Giles District for the
year ending 31st December, 1895.
Area.
St. Giles District comprises the two parishes of St.
Giles-in-the-Fields and St. George, Bloomsbury—an area
of 245 statute acres.
It forms one of the Central Metropolitan Districts, and
for civil registration purposes is divided into three subdistricts,
viz:—
1. St. George, Bloomsbury.
2. St. Giles, South.
3. St. Giles, North.
