The number of births during the year was 54, equal to
a birth.rate of 39.3 per 1,000.
The deaths were 26, equal to a death.rate of 18 .9 per 1,000.
There were 11 deaths of children under five, of these
4 died from zymotic diseases, viz., scarlet fever 1, diphtheria
2, and whooping.cough 1, equivalent to a zymotic death.
