Precepts op the Board.
Tlie Board have, during tlie past year, issued the following Precepts
to the Joint "Vestry of the Parishes, viz.:—
On the 27th Septbr, 1870, for General Purposes for £7000
On the 14th March, 1871, do. do „ 9000
Ditto do. for Sewer do „ 2000
Precepts of the Metropolitan Board op Works.
The Board have, during the past year, received a Precept from the
Metropolitan Board of Works, dated the 10th day of February, 1871, for
the payment of the debts and liabilities of the late Commissioners of
Sewers, amounting to the sum of £61 0s. lOd. The Precept of the
Metropolitan Board of Works, for the like purposes for the year ending
31st December, 1870, (£62 14s. 2d.) was paid on the 26th October, 1870.
Metropolitan Consolidated Eate.
A Precept, of the 10th day of February, 1871, pursuant to
the provisions of the Metropolitan Board of Works (Loans) Act, 1869,
requiring this Board to raise the sum of ,£4247 13s. 6d., for the expenses
of the Board to the 31st December, 1871, has also been issued by the
Metropolitan Board of Works.
The Board paid the Precept issued by the Metropolitan Board of
Works, for the like purposes for the year ending 31st December, 1870,
amounting to the sum of £6585 19s. 8d., by two separate instalments,
on the 24th day of May, and the 26th clay of October, 1870, respectively.
Paving and Sanitary Works, &e.
The Eeports of the Medical Officer of Health and Surveyor, give full
details of the Sanitary, Paving, and Sewerage Works carried out in this
District during the past year.
