Your Committee have also great pleasure in reporting,,
that during the year 117 children have been sent to school
at sums, varying from 2d. to 6d. per week, amounting to
the before-mentioned sum of £37 14s. 5d.
With respect to the Aged Parishioners' Grant, your
Committee retained the same Pensioners as the year previously,
except in cases of death, removal, or any circumstances
of a peculiar nature, and by means of the increased
amount paid to them by the Trustees of the Charity
Estates, they were enabled to increase the Grant to a few
of the old Pensioners who were in the receipt of very small
amounts monthly, and also to increase the number by the
addition of other Recipients.
With respect to the Samaritan Fund, your Committee
resolved that each Distributor should receive £15 instead
of £10 as last year to distribute in his district, thus
