It is again my privilege to record appreciation for the co-operation
of colleagues in the department who have been under considerable pressure
from sheer volume of work. At the time of writing, this is partly due to
shortage of staff which is more serious than it has been at any time in
the past.
The Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Members of the Health Committee have
given every support and encouragement which is much appreciated and the
co-operation of Dr. Birchall and the other Chief Officers, is gratefully
acknowledged.
P.E. KINTON.
Chief Public Health Inspector.
