PHARMACY AND POISONS ACT. 1933.
The Act requires that persons who are vendors of poisons scheduled
in Part II of the Poisons List must apply to the local authority for
their names and those of their deputies to be entered on the Poisons
List. The substances to which the Act relates are usually disinfectants,
herbicides, certain types of hair dyes and acids for domestic or industrial
use.
During the year under review 12 names were removed and 8 added.
The total of names on the list at the end of the year was 104.
