Congenital Malformations
65 babies were notified at birth as congenitally malformed.
Of these, 4. were stillborn and 8 subsequently died, 6 of the deaths
being a direct result of the abnormality notified; the malformation
being a contributory cause of the other 2. 53 babies had survived at
the end of 1968. Details according to the Registrar General's
classification are overleaf.
