Partially sighted persons are defined as "substantially and permanently
handicapped by congenitally defective vision, or in whose case illness or injury
has caused defective vision of a substantial and permanently handicapping
character " The following is a summary by age of those persons included on
the register at 31st December 1967, shows a reduction of six over the figure
for 1966.
