Prosecutions,
Legal proceedings were instituted in respect of a number of
contraventions of the Pood Hygiene (General) Regulations 1960 at
two restaurants in the Borough,, The defendants in each case
pleaded guilty and fines totalling £160 in one case and £490
with £20 costs in the other were imposed. Eighteen summonses
were issued in respect of the latter case.
