Child Welfare Clinics
Child welfare clinics are held at the six Council owned
clinics referred to above and also in three rented premises in
The Old School, Robin Hood Lane, Kingston Vale, St. George's Hall,
Hamilton Avenue, Tolworth, and St. Mary's Church Hall, Chessinglton.
The sessions in the last named premises started in late September
1966. Advice is given by medical officers and health visitors,
and help is given by voluntary workers who assist with keeping
records and the sale of welfare foods. These welfare foods are
sold at all the centres listed below, except South Place, Surbiton
and Hamilton Avenue, Tolworth. They are also sold at the Women's
Royal Voluntary Service Centres at Kingston, Maiden, Surbiton, and
the Fairmead Day Nursery, as follows:

DENTAL SERVICE FOR EXPECTANT AND NURSING MOTHERS AND YOUNG CHILDREN
The tables overleaf show the number of mothers and young
children provided with the various forms of dental care and treatment
during the year. There are two dental surgeries at the Acre Road
and Roselands Clinics.
