During the year assistance was given as follows:
3 newly blind people were sent on social
rehabilitation courses;
20 people were in attendance at the
handicraft class;
26 people made articles in their own homes
as occupational therapy;
4 people were taught Braille;
5 people were taught Moon;
16 people were given radio sets supplied by
the British Wireless Fund for the Blind.
Partially Sighted Register
The following is a summary by age of those persons at present included on the register:

Six new cases were admitted to the register during the
year. They were all over the age of sixty-five.
Thanks are tendered to the Surrey Voluntary Association
for the Blind who have helped to maintain these welfare services and
who will continue to help until 31st March 1966. The services they
carry out will be taken over by a new Kingston upon Thames
Association for the Blind, which it is hoped will be established
early in the new year.
