Bedelsford School, Grange Road, Kingston.
It has recently been decided to raise the number of places at
the school from 72 to 85. This will be achieved by adding a larger
hall, and two more practical rooms to the existing accommodation.
These new arrangements will make it possible to open a nursery unit in
1966.
It was an interesting year, as the pupils originally entering
the Cerebral Palsy Unit in September 1953 have left school and some are
now at the Kingston Work Centre. Other less severely handicapped
pupils are at various centres for training, e.g. Queen Elizabeth's
Training College, Leatherhead, and at Stockport Training Centre taking
