With regard to Corporation housing, during the year 69 flats were
completed and occupied, and in addition 19 bed-sitting rooms for old
people and a warden's flat were provided by the conversion and extension
of No. 33, Gloucester Road.
The following schemes being carried out by the Corporation were
commenced during 1963:-
8 one-bedroom flats for old persons and
16 three-bedroom flats

9 two-bedroom flats in Palace Road*
