Tiffin Girls’ School, This instrument was installed in September, and during term time is operate by the pupils.
The co-operation of the Headmistress the staff and pupils in this experiment is greatly appreciated. The following are the results obtaineds:-

In addition to the instruments previously referred to„ the Corporation
maintains two deposit gauges which were located, after consultation with
the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, in Caribury Gardens
and Tiffin Girls' Sehoal respectively. They are, for the purposes of
report. referred to as "A" and 'B'
The following tables give the results of analysis, together with rain
fall and wind readings„ The figures are from observations made to show
the effects when the prevailing wind was blowing from industrial sources
towards the recording stations.
