A Surrey County Council property and a kindergarten school
had some of their ceilings almost black with tiny flies and they
were dealt with, not by insecticidal baits but by, of all things,
a vacuum cleaner,.
The department was asked to identify insects submitted by
members of the public and in this connection we acknowledge
gratefully the assistance given by the Ministry of Agriculture,
Fisheries and Food Laboratory at Tolworth.
