In addition to the instrument previously referred to, the
Corporation maintains two deposit gauges which were located, after
consultation with the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research,
in Canbury Gardens and Tiffin Girls' School respectively, They are, for
the purposes of report, referred to as 'A' and 'B'
The following tables give the results of analysis, together with
rainfall and wind readings. The figures are from observations made to
show the effects when the prevailing wind was blowing from industrial
sources towards the recording stations.
