This station was established in July 1950 and true
comparison can be made only for the periods July/December
in the two years 1950 and 1951. The year 1951 shows a
considerable reduction in the monthly average deposit,
although the rain-fall and wind readings varied little
compared with the figures for 1950.
At this station the deposit of soluble solids exceeds
that of insoluble solids for 9 months of the year, the totals
being in the ratio of 7 to 5 - a reversal of the relationship
at station "A". This again was expected9 in view of the
position of the gauge on the roof of a building in a large
open area.
