The following tables (I) (II) (III) (IV) summarise certain
vital statistics. The figures in Table (II) are the Registrar
General's estimate. The proposed census of 1951 should give
valuable information on the present sex and age distribution
of the population, which is required for the accurate interpretation
of the rates given.
