of the National Health Service, and as such the responsibility
of the Local Health Authority, in this case the Surrey County
Council).

Nurses in the care of the aged, sometimes assisted by domestic
helps from the Home Help Scheme.
(2) Infectious Diseases. In Measles, Whooping Cough
and Epidemic Diarrhoea. the Health. Visitors are under instruction
to visit the cases and give practical advice as to the
best methods of nursing them.
